Lot no. 15
EGYPTIAN FRAGMENTARY GLASS BOTTLE.
New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC.
A tall bottle made from green/blue glass, its elegant silhouette exhibits a rounded shoulder above the carinated body and a narrowing neck surmounted by an everted lip. The glass surfaces showcase impressive lustre and smooth textures, given their age. Around the larger part of the body, a decoration comprised of diagonal lines alternating white and black and a wave white and yellow pattern adorned the neck.
