EGYPTIAN GLASS POMEGRANATE VOTIVE VESSEL
New Kingdom, Dynasty 18th - 19th, Ca. 1550 - 1190 BC.
A glass pomegranate votive vessel with a globular dark green body marbled with lighter veining and a flaring crown-shaped mouth accented in opaque yellow. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
