EGYPTIAN GOLD BUTTON SEAL. Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2030 - 1850 BC.An oval-shaped, gold button seal featuring a domed, plain back with an underside incised with a symmetrical composition arranged horizontally. Representing stylised thicket of a pronged plant, this seal is most likely a papyrus with three blooms.
