EGYPTIAN GRANITE MACE HEAD Ca. 3600 - 3100 BC. A piriform macehead made of a beautiful black and grey breccia with a drilled centre hole and a smooth surface. The piece has a very pleasing weight in the hand and was likely mounted on perishable material in its original use Size: 55mm x 45mm; Weight: 165g.
