EGYPTIAN GREEN STONE KNIFE WITH HIEROGLYPHIC INSCRIPTION
Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332 - 30 BC
A stone knife with a triangular blade and a rectangular handle. The handle is adorned with hieroglyphic inscriptions. The top of the blade is decorated with a geometric pattern consisting of double transversely incised strokes. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
