EGYPTIAN LAPIS LAZULI HALF CYLINDER INLAY. New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1070 BC. An inlay displaying a vibrant cobalt blue glaze. The inlay features a cylindrical shape with smooth, tall walls which slope into concave sides. This form of inlay was possibly part of a tomb or building complex.
