EGYPTIAN MOSAIC GLASS ROSETTE INLAY. Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. A circular mosaic glass inlay with a central rosette set against a white ground. The rosette consists of eight radiating petals, each divided into two sections of red, blue, green, and yellow. A small white circle outlined in red marks the centre. The composition is framed by a thick red border. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
