EGYPTIAN NECKLACE WITH CARNELIAN AND STONE BEADS Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. An Egyptian necklace strung with stone beads in different shapes and colours to create a colourful composition. The beads are carnelian, quartz, and black stone. Restrung. Size: 290/580mm x 10.5mm; Weight: 9.9g. Provenance: Property of a London gallery; previously in a collection of a North London gentleman; formerly in a collection of Mrs B. Ellison, a deceased former member of the Egyptian Exploration Fund, bought from the 1940s, Cairo and London.
