EGYPTIAN PAINTED POTTERY JAR WITH NILOTIC SCENE.
Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC
A large painted pottery jar with a broad shoulder decorated with horizontal bands and a Nilotic frieze showing a long-necked bird striding among tall lotus plants and rosettes. Further coloured bands encircle the body above the base.
