EGYPTIAN PAINTED WOODEN SARCOPHAGUS MASK. Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A wooden mask from a sarcophagus with a rounded face, short nose, and narrow, slightly curved lips. The eyes are almond-shaped and defined with black cosmetic lines extending towards the temples. The brows are thin and arched, painted in black.
