EGYPTIAN SANDSTONE RELIEF DEPICTING ATEN WITH THE CROWN OF THE KING Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC. A rectangular sandstone relief carved with the circular solar disc of the Aten at the centre, from which a dense fan of straight rays descends across the field. Below the focus of the rays is a royal crown. A plain band runs along the upper edge, and at the right are columns of hieroglyphs, with additional traces of signs at the left.
