EGYPTIAN SANDSTONE RELIEF WITH ORIGINAL PIGMENTS Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC A fragment of a painted relief on sandstone. It features an engraved surface with a hieroglyphic inscription, likely representing the sign Neb or a sceptre. The decorative relief displays a vivid original red pigment across the entire surface. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
