EGYPTIAN SILVER RING WITH SCARAB Ca. 664- 30 BC A silver ring with a scarab, featuring a D-shaped body formed of a round-sectioned shank. The ring includes an oval-shaped cell situated between the finials, inlaid with a finely carved scarab displaying an engraved underside. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition. Size: 30mm x 25mm; Weight: 11g. Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; acquired from Naji Asfar, 23 May 2007.
