EGYPTIAN STONE, GLASS AND FAIENCE NECKLACE WITH LAPIS LAZULI PENDANT.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC
A composite necklace restrung with long blue faience tubular beads along the upper section, spaced by small disc beads in contrasting white and red tones. The lower section is formed of rounded beads in red, green, amber and blue stone and glass, centred by a carved lapis lazuli pendant in the form of a head and finished with a simple metal clasp.
