EGYPTIAN TERRACOTTA BUST OF PHARAOH. Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332 - 30 BC. A terracotta plaque depicting a pharaoh wearing a headdress with curved horns extending outward and a central solar disc resting between them. Behind this, a double feather crown rises vertically. The head is sculpted with fine facial features, including almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and full lips. Mounted on a custom-made display stand. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
