EGYPTIAN WOODEN SARCOPHAGUS MASK Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A wooden sarcophagus mask with elongated almond-shaped eyes outlined in black, a straight nose, and pursed lips. The surface retains extensive traces of red pigment across the face, with black and white pigment around the eyes and white gesso along the forehead. Mounted on a modern base.
