EGYPTIAN WOODEN STATUETTE OF HORUS FALCON New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A wooden falcon figure, depicted standing with legs firmly set on a rectangular integral base. The body is broad-chested with wings folded tightly along the sides and tail extending straight to the ground. Traces of dark pigment are visible across the wings and body. The head is defined with a small hooked beak and incised circular eyes beneath a crest that merges into the back of the head. Restored.
