EGYPTIAN WOODEN USHABTI New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A wooden ushabti figure depicted standing with hands placed on the chest and wearing a tripartite wig. Its side lappets fall over the shoulders and extend down the upper back. The facial features are rendered in shallow relief, with a prominent nose and angular jawline. The body is elongated, with a slightly tapering lower section. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA47394.
