The piece is shaped like a flat disc with eight notched protrusions around the edge. The tips of the notches show signs of calcification; four of the teeth are longer and four shorter, arranged alternately. Both the top and bottom surfaces are in the form of an eight-pointed star, with a central perforation drilled from both sides.
