ELAMITE DARK RED STONE CYLINDER SEAL DEPICTING HARES Ca. 3000 - 2700 BC. A cylinder seal carved from reddish stone with a smooth form and central perforation. The surface is engraved with a frieze of stylised hares advancing to the left. Between the animals are multiple filler motifs, including dots and diagonal strokes. Studied by PD Dr. habil.
