ELAMITE GLAZED TERRACOTTA INSCRIBED PEG
Ca. 1340 - 1300 BC.
A glazed terracotta peg with a tapering cylindrical shaft, terminating at one end in a circular mouth and at the other in a broad moulded collar formed by two projecting annular ridges. Below, the body expands into a convex lenticular terminal with a line of Elamite cuneiform script.
