Lot no. 349
Elegant silver coffee pot characterised by a smooth pyriform body resting on three supports grafted onto the body by means of relief applications with palmette and foliage motifs, typical of the neoclassical decorative repertoire. The most valuable element is the spout in the shape of a finely chiselled bird's head, which emerges vigorously from the body of the vase. The hinged lid has a pinecone grip, surrounded by a fine band engraved with rhomboid geometric motifs that is also repeated on the shoulder of the object. The turned wooden side handle is 'C'-shaped to facilitate grip and insulate heat, attached to the structure by circular attachments decorated with rosettes. Silver 800. Slight defects Weight gr. 583
