Elegant Louis XV table chandelier with dancing figure by Meissen Rocaille-shaped, open-worked, gilded bronze base with round inset for the depiction of a dancer in Baroque costume standing on a rocaille-like relief base next to a tree stump with a rising flowering branch on one leg. Polychrome painting with subtle gilding. Designed by Friedrich Elias Meyer, 1752. Rising flowering branches with colourfully painted, so-called Vincennes flowers and three goblet-shaped spouts with leaf-relief eaves bowls. Minimally chipped/rest; figure h. 17.5 cm. Total h. 27 cm. W. 37 cm.
