Auf ovalem, mehrfach gewölbtem Standring Elfenbeinmantel mit umlaufendem Puttenreigen. In starkem Hochrelief Putten mit verschiedenen Attributen. Von links nach rechts sitzender Putto, geschmückt mit Blumen und an einer Blüte riechend als 'der Geruch', gefolgt von einem Putto mit Weintrauben als 'der Geschmack', direkt daneben Putto mit Vogel für 'das Gefühl', dann Putto mit Spiegel für 'das Sehen' und zuletzt ein Putto mit Aulos als 'das Gehör'. Darüber hoher, mit Profilen abgesetzter Lippenrand der inneren Silberwandung. Der Scharnierdeckel wie der Standring oval gestuft und mit gegabelter Daumenruh. On oval, repeatedly domed base on ivory cover with encircling dance of putti. In strong high relief putti with various attributes. From left to right a sitting putto decorated with flowers and smelling one as 'smell', followed by a putto with grapes as 'taste', right next to him a putto with bird as 'feeling', then a putto with mirror as 'sight', and last a putto with aulos as 'hearing'. Above them a lip rim of the interior silver contrasted with profiles. The hinged lid repeatedly domed like the base and with forked thumblift. Mounted on the c-scroll handle cupid as herma of ivory.
