The Austrian artist Elisabeth Kesselbauer-Laske, sister of painter and graphic artist Oskar Laske, completed her training at the Kunstgewerbeschule (School of Applied Arts) in Vienna and was a member of the Vereinigung bildender Künstlerinnen Österreichs (Association of Female Artists in Austria). She worked primarily as a portrait, landscape and flower painter. She took part in group exhibitions at the Vienna Secession and at the Neue Galerie in Vienna.
