ELSKAMP Max (1862-1931). Les Fleurs vertes. Brussels, Nouvelle Société d'édition, 1934; large in-8 emerald bradel half-maroquin, gilt head, cover (Delapierre). First edition printed by Buschmann in accordance with the author's last wishes, printed in an edition of 200 copies on Snow White paper and 12 copies on Hollande paper. The volume is decorated with 61 wood-engraved ornaments by Elskamp himself, printed in ochre, 7 of which appear for the first time. ☞ Copy No. I, one of 12 on Hollande. It appeared, paperback, in the sale of Albert Mockel, 11 May 1945, expert Van der Perre, No. 127. Ex-libris A Grisay reproduced. Spine faded on the edges. 📖 Pascal de Sadeleer, Max Elskamp, catalogue raisonné, no. 69 (cites the Mockel copy).
