ELUARD (Paul), attributed to. Wet. [ca. 1921]. One folio page, handwritten in ink. Autograph poem of 14 verses titled, unsigned. This poem first appeared in 1921 in the Belgian Dadaist review Ca ira and later in the book Les Animaux et leurs Hommes.
The stone bounces on the water,
Smoke does not penetrate it.
Water, like a skin
That no one can wound
Is caressed
By man and fish...
