Oval box with six enamelled panels. Matte gold mount, decorated with antique vases and leaves and flowers in translucent red and green enamel. The panels show various genre scenes after David Teniers the Younger, on the lid a family by an open fire, on the rim a couple at the table, a flute player, a violin player, a couple with a letter at the table. The bottom depicts card players. The miniatures demonstrate an interest in artists such as Teniers, Greuze and Lépice, but cannot be clearly attributed to a specific artist.
