ENAMELLED THREE-PIECE CUTLERY SET WITH KNIFE, FORK AND SPOON South German, around 1700. Conical enamelled handle with a slightly raised floral band painted in a spiral. Slightly domed handle cap with gilt knob pommel. Twisted gilt grip ferrule. Blade of medium point. The blade bolster retracted. The knife blade with forge mark. Fork with two tines and a short neck with a gilt, moulded bolster. Spoon with vermeil monkey, the slightly baluster-shaped neck gilt. L knife 19.2 cm, L fork 17 cm, L spoon 16.6 cm. Enamelling with cracks and some losses. Blade with traces of corrosion, partially abraded. Gilding rubbed.
