Empire brûle parfum bronze, finely chiselled and fire-gilt as well as so-called Verde Antico marble veined in various shades of green. A square plinth with a surrounding laurel frieze on moulded baluster feet and an edged base with applied wreaths and bird motifs. Above this, a moulded, vase-shaped body with openwork ornamentation, the sides with strongly curved snake handles. Flat lid with pine knob. One handle damaged; h. 36 cm.
