Michael VII Doukas (1071-1078), Histamenon nomisma, electrum, circa 1071 BC: Bust of Christ, facing, wearing a radiate nimbus and pallium, blessing with his right hand and holding the Gospels in his left. Rv: Bust of Michael VII, front, bearded and crowned. In his right hand he holds the labarum and in his left a cruciger globe.
