The metal is barely porous on the right side. Of very beautiful mintage, this specimen has hardly circulated and shows a delicate patina with golden highlights. Superb at Fleur de coin.
The reverse depicts the monument of Eutychides of Sicyone, a pupil of Lysippus, erected in Antioch: the Tyche of Antioch. The goddess is both Tyche and an allegory of the city of Antioch. This sculpture was destroyed in an earthquake in 115, but a copy from the Roman period is now in the Vatican Museum (Galerie des Candélabres).
