[ILLUMINATION]. Visitation Neo-Gothic illumination, painted in full on parchment France, late 19th or early 20th century Miniature size: 187 x 72 mm; dimensions of frame: 220 x 182 mm. This miniature is painted in the style of late 14th-century miniatures (a note on the back of the frame reads "La Visitation. Heures de Troyes, fin XIVe siècle") or rather in the style of miniatures from the first quarter of the 15th century. We are thinking, for example, of miniatures attributed to artists of the first quarter of the 15th century in the spirit of the Master of Boucicaut (active in Paris between 1408 and 1420) and his emulators.
