Set of 28 handwritten letters signed by Roux-Champion and 2 times by his wife, mostly with place and date, addressed to Mr. Michel. They vary in length, format and type and are written in ink or sometimes pencil. The correspondence takes place between 1927 (when the 10 painters project was completed) and 1950. From 1937 to 1949, he wrote from his home in Champlitte, then in Vars. The letters concern their various joint publishing projects, the sale or purchase of the artist's works, numerous repeated requests for payments, but also more personal subjects: health, children... particularly in 1944 when the difficulties caused by the war were cruelly felt. He also talks, with a heavy heart, about selling his house in Champlitte and moving to Vars, and about selling his violin. Also enclosed is a model subscription form for 20th century painters, 1 contract signed by Roux-Champion and Michel dated 1926 and 1 engraved postcard signed by Roux Champion.
