SET OF 3 RINGS Earthenware H. 2.2 cm; 2.1 cm; 2 cm Egypt, New Kingdom, circa 1550-1077 BC Provenance Former French private collection, built up between 1990 and 2000 Those with the eyes: Acquired at a French auction in 2023 A deep cobalt blue earthenware ring with a circular bezel in relief decorated with a design combining three udjat eyes. Turquoise earthenware ring with an elongated oval bezel decorated with a finely incised figurative scene. The composition depicts a seated royal figure between a winged Horus and a flying goose (?). A dark blue earthenware ring with an oval bezel decorated with a zoomorphic motif in relief representing a running animal. The three rings are in very good condition. A Set of 3 New-Kingdom Glazed Faience Rings. c. 1550-1077 BCE. ing in deep cobalt blue faience adorned with a circular raised bezel decorated with a motif combining three wedjat eyes. Ring in turquoise faience with elongated oval bezel adorned with a finely incised figural scene. The composition represents a seated royal figure, between a winged Horus and a goose in flight (?). Ring in dark blue faience with oval bezel adorned with a zoomorphic relief motif representing an animal in motion. All three rings are in a very fine state of conservation.
