Set of American caps made from chino fabric, comprising a first model bearing a label dated 1 June 1945, size 7, identified by laundry number S9083. The second cap, also in chino fabric, has a Durable Uniform Co manufacturer's label dated 30 April 1943, and size 6 ¾. The third cap, also in chino cloth, has a typical US Army Medical Services selvedge. It has a label dated 19 December 1949 and is inscribed to S. Giovanelli CO C 31 St 36188645, a native of Michigan. The three pieces show moderate wear, a period patina and a few stains. Condition II+. Set of U.S. garrison caps made of chino cloth including a first model with a label dated June 1, 1945, size 7, identified by laundry number S9083. The second cap, also in chino cloth, features a label from the manufacturer Durable Uniform Co dated April 30, 1943, and is size 6 ¾. The third cap, also in chino fabric, has the distinctive piping used by U.S. Army medical services. It has a label dated December 19, 1949, and bears a name marking for S. Giovanelli CO C 31 St 36188645 from Michigan. All three items show moderate wear, period patina, and some staining. Condition II+.
