It is accompanied by a complete canteen, complete with stopper and chain, dated 1943. The second cover, also in thick OD canvas, has the same back reinforcements. The press studs are functional and the belt hook, although present, is oxidised. The manufacture is not identifiable. There is some wear, a marked patina and stains on all parts. Condition II+.
