A set of American aerial photographs dated December 1944. These are original black and white prints, marked US31/3864 27 Dec 44 F/24 11/10PC 1030 A 20 000. The plates are numbered 1147, 1151, 1148, 2165, 1156, 2166, 1150, 2094, 1149, 2974, 1157, 1145 and 1146. The views identify the towns of Frenet, Givry, Givroulle, Beau Platteau, Senonchamps, Gerimont Rouette and Salle Wigny. There is some wear and a characteristic patina to all the items. Condition II+. These locations are in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium, an area that saw intense fighting during the Battle of the Bulge (16 December 1944 - 25 January 1945).
