SET OF FOUR "BUZI" MANDARIN BADGES AND A MEDALLION in polychrome silk predominantly blue, brown and white, three of which are partially in kesi, one on the back, depicting an egret to the right, another in two parts on the front, depicting an egret to the left, both for a sixth-ranking civilian official; the third, a lion to the left, for a military official of the second rank; the fourth, embroidered, depicting a bear, for a military official of the fifth rank; waves and bands of "lishui" on the lower part of the "buzi"; the medallion embroidered with a dragon in front. (Minor accidents, soiling, pulled threads, insolation, missing upper part of a border). China, Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century.
