Made by Maurice BouRdon Paris ; - A silver-plated general's uniform star; - Cross of Lorraine badge in gilt brass, jeweller's clip. H. 2.4 cm History : After the General's death, Madame de Gaulle had a large part of her husband's uniforms burnt at La Boisserie (one uniform will be donated to the Musée de l'Armée, some effects including the helmet and tanker jacket will also be preserved). Provenance : - Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970) - Then Admiral Philippe de Gaulle (1921-2024) - Then descendants
