Cuirass model 1855/91 in polished steel consisting of breastplate and backplate, shoulder straps with chains mounted on leather having undergone the modification of 1891, cut brass lock, leather belt with roller buckle, breastplate engraved: "Manufacture d'armes de Châtellerault - Avril 1880 - 2e taille -2e Largeur" and with a painted number 8. Surface oxidation, needs cleaning. 3rd Republic period. ABE
