Set consisting of a simplified blackened leather belt with single-buckle buckle, a Chassepot bayonet holder whose loops have been sewn to fit the belt, and a Chassepot bayonet with brass handle and Yatagan blade, marked Manufacture Impériale de Châtellerault, dated 1868. ABE Found as is in Meuzac in Haute-Vienne, this is a piece of equipment of the mobile or mobilised National Guard of this department.
