M1 model 43 helmet, olive drab paint, closed front band, movable chinstrap bridges, canvas chinstrap, McCord Radiator No. 813D (January 1944), large mesh camouflage netting, second type compressed fibre liner, Westinghouse, complete. There is a label between the helmet and the liner: "American soldier's helmet picked up by Papa Louis in Ligneuville, January 1945".
