In-12, dark green morocco, framed with a light green mosaic listel to the boards, with gilt irons in the spandrels, within this frame another formed of a gilt fillet with mosaic angular floral pieces, spine decorated, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine (Joly fils). Illustrated with 16 in-text colour engravings by Louis Mortier after compositions by Edmond Malassis and eight wood-engraved decorative motifs. Limited edition of 170 copies, this being one of 150 on vellum paper. Spine faded, slight rubbing to nerves.
