I’m not doing anything “new”. And this has never been my intention. That is something for other pictures, other painters. Rather, my endeavor is to provide a deeper perspective on something, a view, an insight and by doing so my aim is to improve it. Painting, as I do it, contains so many dimensions, it is so complicated and so “unlearnable” that even today I find I can’t fall asleep at night, as I am so eagerly awaiting the coming “day of painting”.
