UNITED STATES. Set of 61 unglued albumen prints presenting a panorama of the United States of America from the East Coast (Niagara, New York) to the West Coast (California). Landscapes (mountains, ocean), city scenes (architecture, streets, shops, China Town), transport (railways, engineering structures), history (Sioux encampment) etc, etc. Most of the images are captioned, and some were taken by Tabert in San Francisco or CR Savage in Salt Lake City in the late 19th century. Various formats from 28x22 cm (the most common) to 15x9 cm.
