ETRUSCAN BUCCHERO KYATHOS WITH MOULDED FACE. Ca. 550 BC. A black bucchero kyathos with a deep flaring bowl on a ring foot. The high vertical handle rises well above the rim and is decorated at the base with a moulded male face in relief. The upper section of the handle bears a stylised motif and is surmounted by a small knop. A lightly incised band of zigzags encircles the upper body below the rim.
