ETRUSCAN HIGH KARAT GOLD RING WITH CARNELIAN INTAGLIO DEPICTING HEPHAESTUS Ca. 500 BC. A carnelian intaglio engraved with a figure of Hephaestus advancing to the left, holding a hammer in his raised left hand. The scene is enclosed within a hatched border.
