ETRUSCAN TERRACOTTA OFFERING HEAD. Ca. 500 - 300 BC. A terracotta votive head depicting a woman with curly hair falling in thick strands around the face and neck. Her facial features are symmetrically rendered, with almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and full lips. A prominent ridge indicates the upper edge of a headdress or veil framing the crown.
