ETRUSCO - CORINTHIAN BLACK-FIGURE OINOCHOE Ca. 650 - 600 BC. A pottery oinochoe decorated in the black-figure technique, with a trefoil mouth and high-arched handle. A frieze of animals and a human figure encircles the shoulder, including lions and antelopes amid dense floral ornament. A second frieze, composed of panthers and a winged figure, is painted around the base of the neck. The lower body is covered in black glaze, and the area above the foot is bordered with a radiating tongue motif.
